Das Krümelmonster sagt NEIN!

It's not Monday, but it would qualify if I was still doing those posts.

For your enjoyment, here's Cookie Monster singing with Rammstein:

Dwarfed Punk

I kind of got away from doing Music Madness Mondays.
Partly because I wasn't always finding a good enough video and felt pressured to "perform". And partly because I figured what I thought was funny or cool... wasn't to the rest of you.

But screw all that!
I just saw this and thought it was pretty nifty, so in lieu of actual content I'm posting it for your audio / visual pleasure.

You know what goes good with this?
My "Robison Crusoe" milkshake!
In a blender mix:
2 scoops of vanilla ice cream
1 shot creme de cocao (the clear kind)
1 shot banana liquer
2 shots Malibu rum
2 shots mango liquer (if you have it, otherwise substitute real mango chunks and use vodka for the alcohol)
and a heaping spoonful of crushed pineapple.

Blend, drink, enjoy!
Goes well with weekends and awesome music.

Stay tuned as I have another "contentless post" coming up soon.

Music Madness Monday

Christmas is just a three more days away.
Hope you've got your shopping all finished and you're tucked away at home all warm and snug.

You've probably seen this before, but still....

.... who doesn't wish for one?

MMM preamble

I apologize but I've had nothing but problems trying to get this post to work today.
I'l try it again, but since the problem seems to be happening whenever I edit the post, here is all the info:

Today's Music Madness includes appearances by G-rod, Imperfect, and Elwood.
(They didn't know they were going to help me out... but thanks guys!)

Alright, so see above for actual "content". (If you can call it that)
Thanks for your patience.

Music Madness Monday

It's a two-fer-one special today, since these are kind of short.

The worst:

(thanks via the Presurfer)

And the best:

(Who knew homeless guys had this much talent?)

Music Madness Monday (Special Edition)

In recognition of today being World Aids Day, I'm presenting you with a special triple feature.

The following videos are French* PSA's to help promote safe sex and inform people to protect themselves from sexually transmitted diseases.

WARNING: While these are cartoons, they can still be considered slightly NSFW (particularly if your boss or co-workers are extremely prudish), so viewer discretion is advised.

AIDS can infect anyone and it effects everyone.

So inform yourself and be safe.

* These PSA's were done in both French and English, so I used the English language ones for this post.

Music Madness Monday

Thanksgiving is almost here. Only a few more days away.
So here's a video to remind us of some things to be thankful for;
Skinny ties, hair-metal bands, girls rolling around on cars.... generally everything the 80's had to offer.
Oh, and MILFS. Rawr!

Oh Snap!
You've been Rick-rolled!

Or has Rick been rolled himself? Hmmm....

Thanks to Elwood for bringing this to my attention!

Music Madness Monday

How in the world did I ever miss this until now?

Music Madness Monday

Who doesn't like cookies?

It's always a good time for them!

Music Madness Monday

Just in time for Halloween this coming Friday....

Oh!
Did I mention there were SCREAMING GIRLS?

Music Madness Monday

Hey! A double-feature this time, since Halloween is just around the corner!

FYI: These grrrrls ROCK!!
I had the pleasure of seeing them live in Tacoma a few years back and in Bremerton a couple years before that. Definitely a worthwhile show!
The Hell's Belles!

Look for a cameo by a famous comic book character.

By the way, these girls are Korean.
I know the tag below says "Japanese Schoolgirls", but I didn't want to make a new tag up.
I'm lazy like that.

Music Madness Monday

A true legend....

This one's kind of long (almost 8 minutes) but if you're a fan, it's worth it.

Music Madness Monday

How about some Motown to start off the week?

Ahhh... I just love Joan Osborne!
Not only is she damn sexy (in my opinion, anyway) but she has a heck of a voice.

She just released a new album, "Little Wild One", and is kicking off a tour to help promote it.
She'll be in Seattle on Oct. 13th playing two shows at the Triple Door.
I'd love to go, but since it's a Tuesday night, Hotness doesn't.
If anybody is interested in going please let me know. I'd love to have company to enjoy the show with. I'd like to see the early performance, but the later one is fine.

Here's another song she from her album "Righteous Love" (which is my favorite).
The crowd is a little noisy, but Joan's voice shines through it.

Music Madness Monday

Okay, let's slow things down a bit from all that rock 'n' roll I've been posting.

I'm sure something like this has probably happened to you at some point in life.

Music Madness Monday

This is STILL one of the coolest videos ever!
(And if you don't agree, you are a communist!)

And just for fun....

Music Madness Monday

Oh man! I forgot to get a post together so it would be ready for today.
I apologize for the tardiness of this one.

Since I'm going to him in concert tomorrow, I'm presenting...
WEIRD AL YANKOVIC

Music Madness Monday (for real this time!)

I couldn't leave you all hanging with that last one.
Here's something to raise your fist and declare your '80's pride with!
